Dr. Simcha Chesner, Clinical Psychologist

Director of Clinical Services at Israel Academy of Social and Emotional Learning. Co-Author of Kosher ADHD: Thriving with ADHD within the Jewish Community.

The best way to help people with ADHD is to address their needs across all areas of their lives, including their academic, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. There are unique pressures and challenges that Jewish families face when addressing mental health concerns in their homes and communities, and I am committed to providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive. I regularly contribute to reputable Jewish publications in order to spread the message that is so vital, which is that living with ADHD does not need to just be something to manage, but it can be something to thrive with. By working together and making the community more aware of the challenges that come from living an Orthodox life with an ADHD mind, we can build a more inclusive and constructive world for our children.
